Estrella. Two generations - about identity and acceptance

Peru, late 1980s: a young woman dreams, falls in love, is disappointed - and is caught between her own desires and the expectations of her family and society. Two decades later, her now grown-up child goes through a similar journey: in search of identity, self-acceptance and a place in the world.

"Estrella" tells of love and loss, of connection and loneliness, and of the courage to overcome disappointment. Two generations are at the center of the concert - and the question of how family stories, social expectations and hopes shape one's own identity.

The musical concert combines music in Spanish, French, English and German with dance and theater to create an impressive, interdisciplinary performance. Translations are available for all Spanish and French texts.
