On April 25, the Gert Kapo Quartet will present a concert at the Kulturbad that embodies the cross-border spirit in a special way: Music as a unifying force between cultures, traditions and modern soundscapes. With his Amanet project, Albanian-born pianist and local ambassador Gert Kapo brings an energetic and poetic fusion of jazz, Balkan traditions and oriental influences to the stage - a living musical heritage told in a new way.

Special guest pianist, singer and songwriter Merve Akyıldız will add her unmistakable musical signature to the evening. Her Macedonian roots, her experience in classical, jazz and world music and her strong stage presence make her an extraordinary ambassador of cultural diversity.

Together they create a program that transcends borders - stylistically and geographically. Newly arranged songs from the Balkans and the Middle East meet flowing jazz vibes, virtuoso improvisations and the quartet's unique sound. An evening full of encounters, where music becomes a bridge.
