Palais Summer Festival: Family Day I Free admission

Children's painting - workshop with children

Children aged 7 to 12 are invited to give free rein to their creativity by painting on canvas.
The workshop will be led by Friederike Curling-Aust. She has many years of experience in art education work with children and young people and has successfully run a painting school in Dresden-Blasewitz for several years.

The necessary materials will be provided on site. During the workshop, the responsibility for supervision remains with the parents or guardians.

The Palais Sommer is the big open-air festival in Dresden. It combines music, art, dance, yoga, workshops, literature, gastronomy and much more. Free admission.

In 2026, Palais Sommer will take place from June 20 to July 26 on Dresden's Neumarkt square. Afterwards, the daily yoga program will continue in Alaunpark until 30 August. A total of around 200 events are planned.

Sun loungers and tables can be reserved in advance.
