A playful two-hour workshop in which children discover the value of food at four stations and learn how they can actively save it themselves - accompanied by the mascot Fridi.

Why: Food waste is a global problem with local consequences. The workshop imparts knowledge, strengthens action skills and shows how everyone can make a contribution in everyday life so that food is not for the garbage can - in a playful, practical and sustainable way.

Palais Sommer is the big open-air festival in Dresden. It combines music, art, dance, yoga, workshops, literature, gastronomy and much more. Free admission.

In 2026, the Palais Sommer will take place on Dresden's Neumarkt from June 20 to July 26. Afterwards, the daily yoga program will continue in Alaunpark until 30 August. A total of around 200 events are planned.

Sun loungers and tables can be reserved in advance.
