The Gabonese singer Pamela Badjogo with her Bantu soul voice takes us on an introspective musical journey with her unmistakable blend of West and Central African sounds. She tells us about her personal dramas, triumphs and the daily challenges of a modern African woman, celebrating her cultural heritage as an inexhaustible source of inspiration.
Pamela Badjogo began her musical career as a singer with the feminist collective "Les Amazones d'Afrique". With her current album 'Yiêh', she consolidates her status as the princess of Bantu sounds and traditions and presents the world with an effervescent mix of Afropop, Highlife and Afrobeat.
Pamela Badjogo, who has been living in France since 2017, describes her music as "joyful feminism" and is politically committed to women's rights. As an activist, she works for "Fées-ministres", a collective that supports women after domestic abuse. She is also the godmother of a school and an association in Mali that teaches children on the banks of the Niger.
