A few years ago, Dutch comedian Patrick Nederkoorn read an article about the imminent 'de-Hollandization of the Earth'. If only half of all climate predictions are correct, it is possible that Holland will eventually disappear into the North Sea. And then?
Will 17 million orange climate refugees roll into Germany with their caravans on the left lane? Will Germany then become their step-fatherland? And will the Germans be able to cope? The Orange Peril is an amusing and bittersweet performance about cultural differences, migration and climate change.
