"Bastian stared at the title of the book and alternately felt hot and cold. This, this was exactly what he had often dreamed of and wished for: a story that never ended! The book of all books! The Neverending Story"
(Michael Ende)
Eva Marianne Kraiss and Theresia Erfort read The Neverending Story as part of the "Open Literature House" project at the Literaturhaus Köln.
The reading takes the audience into Karl Konrad Koriander's antiquarian bookshop - and on an adventure with Bastian, Atréju and Fuchur.
Accompanied by music and imaginative stage elements, the book is not only read aloud, but also acted out by the two actresses.
Scenic reading (approx. 90 min.)
