Philosohiescher Leseclub
In the organizer's words:
Reading opens the windows of the soul.
An open reading club for anyone who wants to go through life with a clear head, an open heart and good conversation.
What is it about?
We read books together that ask big questions - about society, meaning, relationships and a good life. Instead of social media fare, there is depth, exchange at eye level and practical impulses for everyday life.
This is how an evening works (approx. 90-120 min.)
- Short impulse on the book (understandable & relevant to everyday life)
- Exchange in small groups with key questions
- Plenary round: insights & take-aways
- Suggestions for everyday philosophical life
Who is this for?
For the curious, those seeking meaning and pragmatists. No previous knowledge necessary - just a desire to read and enjoy good conversation.
Why take part?
- Strengthen imagination - one of the most authentic human abilities
- Deepen empathy - put yourself in other people's shoes and perspectives
- Train your concentration - like talking to a good friend
- Discover new perspectives - and examine your own convictions
- Bringing ideas to life - thinking, laughing and growing together
Our next reading
- Momo (Michael Ende)
