The FC Women’s first home game—and a special halftime show. On Friday evening, August 28, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., the FC women’s team will host TSG Hoffenheim for their first home game of the season at Franz-Kremer Stadium. In addition to a program for the whole family, there will be a special musical performance. The Cologne-based band Planschemalöör will take the stage and turn the stadium into a frenzy. It’s worth coming—tickets are still available in the FC online shop. Tickets start at 10 euros (reduced rate: 7 euros).

Confetti, love, and Alaaf! Whenever Planschemalöör takes the stage, the energy skyrockets. This charming, lively, and delightfully quirky Cologne-based band already made a guest appearance at last season’s highlight match against SV Werder Bremen at the RheinEnergieSTADION.

Planschemalöör stands for “Surfpop op Kölsch” and is one of Cologne’s up-and-coming bands that’s guaranteed to put you in a good mood. Short blue pants, songs that break your heart, and a charming touch of the big boy bands from the ’90s. Rarely has Kölsch been as sexy as it is with Planschemalöör. Since 2018, Mathis (drums), Pierre (guitar), Alex (bass), and Juri (vocals) have been taking the stage in and around Cologne, ushering in a new generation among young Cologne-based bands with songs like “Heimat” and “Keinen Millimeter.”

The boy band takes a clear political stance, throws clichés overboard, and plays every show with as much energy as if it were their last. With their song “Eat Sleep Alaaf Repeat,” Planschemalöör always keeps the party going full throttle. Their lyrics are in Kölsch, as in “Dat Jeföhl”: “It’s not just the cathedral, not the Rhine, not the carnival. The heart of the city is the people here in Cologne. And even if the world’s turned upside down, we’re not cut out for sadness.”

Their performances are electrifying and captivating—FC fans will see for themselves at the first home game on Friday.

A Game for the Whole Family

The FC women’s home games are perfect for a family outing. As usual, the Pänzclub will be there; plans include a soccer darts station, and Hennes from the Pänzclub will also be on hand.

A Look Back at the First Matchday

On the first matchday of the Google Pixel Women’s Bundesliga, the FC women’s team lost 0–2 to top-ranked Eintracht Frankfurt. The FC showed a significant improvement in performance, especially in the second half, but it wasn’t enough to secure a point. TSG Hoffenheim also suffered a defeat. TSG lost 1–2 to newly promoted VfB Stuttgart. New signing Beke Sterner said: “We stepped up our game in the second half in Frankfurt. If we build on that, I’m sure we’ll pick up our first three points against Hoffenheim.”

Catering Options Expanded and Optimized

Fans can enjoy delicious food and drinks at the stadium stands. To that end, the FC expanded and optimized its food and beverage offerings last season. In addition to stadium sausages (organic sausages), fries, and meatball sandwiches, the menu will include popcorn, giant pretzels, and chocolate rolls. Cold drinks have been switched to 0.5-liter sizes to minimize lines at the stands. As for alcoholic beverages, wine spritzers will be available in addition to Kölsch.

Shuttle Service from the REWE Parking Lot in Hürth

The main parking lot and the forest parking lot at Geißbockheim will be closed on game day for TV broadcasts. Please travel by bike or public transportation, or use the free shuttle service at the parking lot of the West branch of FC’s main sponsor, REWE (Rewestr. 8, 50354 Hürth-Efferen). Parking spaces P1–P5 are available free of charge. Please use only the truck entrance via Kreisstraße K2N.
