Short blue pants, songs that break hearts and a charming touch of the big boy bands from the 90s. Kölsch has rarely been as sexy as with Planschemalöör. Mathis Rasmußen (drums), Pierre Grönlund (guitar), Alex Mayer (bass) and Juri Rother (vocals) have been playing the stages in and around Cologne since 2018 and have ushered in a new generation of young Cologne bands with songs such as "Heimat", "Insel", "Keinen Millimeter", "Heimweh", "Keine Band für eine Nacht" and "Eat, Sleep, Alaaf, Repeat". The boy band stands for a clear political stance, throws clichés overboard and plays every show with as much energy as if it were their last.
