The global economy is in a state of upheaval: trade conflicts, new power relations and changing supply chains are shaping the global market like never before. What is the current state of the global market and what dynamics are driving the changes? What impact do these developments have on producers worldwide? What is the role of fair trade in this new global economic order?

Looking to the future, we will discuss what challenges still lie ahead and what political, economic and social measures are needed for fairer world trade.
