The cultural landscape of the state capital is currently flourishing thanks to privately initiated large-scale projects. But what impact are the current developments having on the independent cultural scene and the city's publicly funded stages, concert halls and theaters? What is new and special about these formats and places where creativity, leisure, culinary delights and nightlife merge? And what challenges do all these changes entail? Quo vadis, Munich's cultural and creative diversity?
