The question of peace is on many people's minds ahead of the 2025 Bundestag elections and numerous peace issues are being discussed more controversially than they have been for a long time. With this event, we would like to give you the opportunity to form an opinion and talk directly to the candidates.
What do the candidates want to do specifically to end the war in Ukraine and secure peace in Europe? How do they want to contribute to ending the violence in the Middle East? What priorities do they want to set for peace and sustainable development after the election?

Numerous groups and initiatives in Cologne are committed to peace. We have invited some of them, including the Cologne Peace Forum, to put their questions to the candidates.
Following the podium, the candidates will be available to answer questions in a personal discussion. In this way, all burning questions and suggestions can be brought to bear and each person can follow up exactly where their interests lie.
