On October 14, 2026, the best poetry slammers in Northern Germany will take the stage at Salon Hansen.
Poetry slam is a live poetry competition. Performers have five minutes to win over the audience with their presence and their poems. It can be loud at times, quiet at others—sometimes funny, sometimes heartwarming. Whether it’s political cabaret or profound poetry, anything goes, and it all belongs on the slam stage. Poetry slam combines diversity, art, and entertainment all in one event, and in the end, the audience decides what they liked best to determine the best poet of the evening.
