Porches, the synth-pop phenomenon from New York City is coming to Germany with three exclusive shows! Led by singer and mastermind Aaron Maine, the band has made a remarkable journey through the US music landscape in recent years. From humble beginnings in a sleepy suburb outside of New York City, to sold-out shows around the world, Porches have captured the hearts of countless fans. And not only with their unique blend of synth-pop, indie rock and electronic and grunge elements, but also through the emotional intensity of their lyrics and their rousing concerts. As a young adult, Aaron Maine moved from a small suburb straight into the heart of the pulsating metropolis of New York City. He often processes this personal journey from the innocence of suburban youth to the complex reality of adult life in his songs. Deep emotions, but also an unmistakable hope can be recognized in his music. With airy synthesizer sounds and sometimes even chaotic-sounding melodies, Porches create a unique atmosphere that captivates and touches their audience in equal measure.
Porches have had a turbulent few years: after a first EP in 2010, which was very well received, five critically acclaimed studio albums followed in just ten years, accompanied by regular sold-out tours.
