GoldMucke & Tim Perkovic present PowerPoint Karaoke for the third time at VierLinden Open-Air in Düsseldorf!

A stage, a projector and a PowerPoint presentation that you've never seen before - that's how PowerPoint Karaoke works. Ideal for after work, the format offers the audience a special kind of entertainment and the participants the chance to put their improvisational talent to the test. At the end, the audience decides who will be the winner of PowerPoint Karaoke.

PowerPoint karaoke - what is it?

In classic karaoke, the lyrics appear and you have to sing along to the music.
The offshoot PowerPoint Karaoke has a similar structure. The candidate and speaker must spontaneously develop and deliver a presentation to randomly selected slides. He sees these for the first time when he is on stage in front of an audience.

The PowerPoint slides can be created by other participants themselves or taken from the Internet. The spontaneous reactions not only train your own rhetoric in an amusing way, but also encourage creativity. What story can you build around the slides?
It can also be seen as a parody of boring and pointless PowerPoint presentations.

The rules of PowerPoint karaoke

The rules for the slideshow of embarrassment are actually quite simple:
The slides are chosen in advance at random on Google or you receive advance presentations. Each participant draws their topic from a lottery pot shortly before the start of their presentation. You are then thrown in at the deep end and given 10 minutes to speak, you have to keep pedaling until the show is over. One minute before the time is up, you will receive a signal so that you can come to the finale of your presentation.
