The Best Historical Novels of the Year!

Every year, the authors’ association “HOMER Historische Literatur e.V.” awards a prize for the best historical novel, the “Golden Homer.” This year, the festive awards ceremony will take place on October 3 in Erfurt, following a reading competition among the nominees.
Eleven titles have been shortlisted, and eleven authors have been invited to present their work in Erfurt. They will first compete against one another in a reading competition, in which the audience decides who receives the Audience Choice Award. Afterward, the Bronze, Silver, and Golden Homer awards will be presented. Guests can chat with the authors, purchase books, and have them signed.
