Pride Koblenz - Samstag
PICK OF THE DAY
You cannot miss this event.
In the organizer's words:
Saturday, August 15, is the main day of Pride Koblenz.
The day kicks off at 12 p.m. with an ecumenical service at Liebfrauenkirche. Afterward, we’ll head out together for the parade. The parade, organized by Oliver Antpöhler-Zwiernik and Patrick Zwiernik, starts at 2:15 p.m. at the Pegelhaus on Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer and then winds its way through downtown Koblenz.
After the march, Pride will be officially opened, and the area around Liebfrauenkirche will come alive. On the main stage, Dörthe Dutt and Lena will host a varied program featuring artists, shows, and special guests. At the same time, music will be playing nonstop on the dance stage in Dr.-Erich-Franke-Gasse.
All around the grounds, you’ll find clubs, initiatives, and community booths, as well as food and drink stands, merchandise, a raffle, an exhibition, a seating lounge, and a chill-out area.
At the same time, the city’s Queer Affairs Officer, Patricia Pederzani, will host her own stage program at Münzplatz. There, social issues, discussions, interviews, and talk shows will take center stage throughout the day.
A colorful program awaits you at Liebfrauenkirche until 10 p.m. But it’s far from over then: From 10 p.m. to midnight, DJs will take over and transform Liebfrauenkirche into a summery open-air party under the stars. 🌈
