With the sudden death of the chair of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires, affectionately known as Puan, Professor Marcelo Pena is faced with unexpected challenges: He is to become his mentor's successor. But then the urbane and charismatic philosophy professor Rafael Sujarchuk appears, who easily wraps everyone around his finger and openly vies for the position.
