Summer vacation on the banks of the Danube; a Catalan family cycles along the river. While his parents reminisce about their youth and his younger brothers seek his company, sixteen-year-old Dídac prefers to be alone and quiet. His heart aches for a lost, unrequited love—why talk so much when no one understands you anyway? But suddenly, at every stop along the journey, he begins to see the same mysterious boy—in the water and on land, in the distance and up close. And each time, Dídac finds himself drawn a little deeper into the stranger’s spell.
