Once a month, Berlin artists, scientists and the public come together at the radio3 Atelier Talk to talk between paints, brushes and digital sketches - in the middle of Kreuzberg, in Roman Lipski's studio. Moderator Siham El-Maimouni explores the question of how art and science inspire and influence each other.
What drives art today? And what interfaces are there with science and research?
Leonardo da Vinci dissected corpses in order to understand the human body; science fiction inspired space travel and without materials research, there would be no Bauhaus. Whether AI, quantum physics, psychology or climate research: in the radio3 Atelier Talk, these interrelationships are researched, felt and discussed - sensually, inspiringly and surprisingly.
