"I learned early on that music is the only thing that works in my life."

Music saved Rami Hattab through his final years of school and continues to save him today. At school, he was handed a guitar and played the one chord he had learned and quickly came up with the lyrics to go with it. His school was thrilled. He let his hair grow, strapped a guitar to his back and went on a tour through his hometown Wiesbaden. The message was clear: get off the hamster wheel to really feel life. "I want my songs to sparkle with the dirt of the street. It's about the things in life that he experiences and observes. For example, one of his songs called "A lot Happens" is about the songwriter never losing the fire that gives him his irrepressible will to live.

Rami Hattab can't be pigeonholed, but when you see him live, you want to build him your own.
