Ray Lozano, the cool Cologne native with German-Filipino roots, is a singer who has traveled the world and always returns to Cologne.
Despite adventures in the USA, the Netherlands and the Philippines, she loves the laid-back vibe of her hometown. Ray is a true multi-instrumentalist - she used to play saxophone at school, now she rocks piano and bass, and produces her songs with her laptop.

Her debut album "Pairing Mode" consists of 12 short musical stories about connection and being alone. With her warm velvet voice and impressive versatility between peaceful melancholy and longing, Ray takes us on a journey through the central motif of her album: "Aloneness" - not loneliness, but celebrated aloneness.

Supported by co-producer Samon Kawamura and visual artist Parissa Charghi, Ray has created a refreshing and uncompromisingly creative work - this work resonates on the same frequency as Solange and Tierra Whack, yet remains unmistakably Ray ✨
