Neosignal: From complete demolition to detailed cutting-edge sound experiments

Phace has been around since his dark and chilly debut "Psycho" - a high-speed drum-and-bass massacre of industrial sounds, shuffling drumlines and deep bass. From there to the 2024 album "Everyday" and across numerous singles and EPs, he has created a sonic identity with twisted basslines, technoid aesthetics and cinematic depth that is instantly recognizable as Phace. Constant touring and inexhaustible producing for top labels like Owsla, Vision, Mau5trap and Critical didn't stop him from co-founding Neosignal with Misanthrope. Since then, the label has stood for futuristic state-of-the-art sound design at the highest level and is a regular guest here with a finely curated line-up.

Ferry Mellegers alias Buunshin landed a #1 hit on Beatport with his very first release and developed from a complete newcomer to an artist releasing on labels such as Breakbeat Kaos, VISION, UKF, Mau5trap and Critical within three years. With deliberate rule-breaking at the interface of drum-and-bass, bass music and experimental electronica, he jumps between genres, fluidly changes BPMs and creates sounds with exceptional attention to detail.

Firmly anchored in the Neosignal environment, Maysev has established himself as a precise and independent producer with releases on labels such as Vision, Pilot, Neosignal and DIVIDID. His sound moves between structured drum and bass and atmospheric electronica, combining complex sound architecture with a melancholic, contemplative melodic layer. This results in tracks that are structurally clear, but at the same time unfold a subtle emotional depth.

Inspired by jungle, deep dubstep and UK bass, SHFOOSJA creates dynamic sets that build up dramaturgically to perfection. Seventh Horizon combines melodic and atmospheric drum and bass with unexpected twists and turns. The two are associated with the French MELTIN' collective, which has been building a Europe-wide platform for drum and bass and other bass-affine music since 2021. As part of the Berlin-based Humanoid Crew, PRTCL has been shaping the deep and minimalist side of drum and bass for some time now. The whole affair will be hosted by MC Jamie White.
