After the great success last year (our event made it into the Süddeutsche newspaper); now with an even more exciting program:

Halloween special event - True Crime in the section hall (incl. donation + specials)

Corpse preparator Alfred Riepertinger makes it possible: the Halloween special event with the right mix of horror and reverence for the dead.

Suspense and creepy factor yes, costume no!

True Crime

Lecture in the lecture hall with a focus on criminal cases, forensics, crime investigation and cold cases.

Guided tour through previously inaccessible rooms (former collection and coffin room for morticians); then it gets exciting in the dissection room.

Creepy

In the dissection room, Alfred Riepertinger shows previously unexhibited specimens and plastinates on the subject of true crime. Here you will also have the opportunity to hold some dissections on criminal cases in your own hands.

Piety

Halloween / All Saints' Day / Dia de los Muertos is the day to honor the dead and also to thank all the dead who have made themselves available for autopsy; because only through autopsy can medicine today save human lives and fight diseases to this extent. This is the only way, for example, that the deadly disease AIDS has become a chronic illness.

Open End

After the lecture or after the guided tour, you can visit the Siegfried Oberndorfer teaching collection for as long as you like.

Question and answer session; what you always wanted to ask a cadaver dissector anonymously (please bring your question on a piece of paper, we will then ask Alfred Riepertinger)

At the farewell there will be souvenirs.

Ticket:

Included in the ticket price: Lecture, guided tour, drink, small souvenirs of the event and a donation of EUR 5.00 to Der WEISSE RING e.V. (largest aid organization for victims of crime)

Event time:

Admission from 6:30 pm, please be there at 6:45 pm at the latest, the event starts punctually at 7:00 pm. Free choice of seats. Duration three hours in total.

Venue:

Lecture hall in the Institute of Pathology at Schwabing Hospital (House 32), entrance via Isoldenstraße or via the main entrance at Kölner Platz (Google does not navigate correctly within the hospital).

The orientation map can be found above as a picture, on the homepage of the clinic electronically or at the gate in paper form.

The hospital is huge and the lecture hall is at the very back, so it is better to allow enough time.

Dress code:

So that there are no misunderstandings and everyone enjoys this very special event: Suspense and scary factor yes, costume no!

In other words, we want a reverent atmosphere and not a weird Halloween party. Therefore, any costumes, masks and Halloween make-up are not permitted. To be very clear: if you are in costume, mask or make-up for Halloween, you will not be admitted to the event - the ticket price will not be refunded if you are refused entry.
