The quartet led by Leipzig jazz pianist Robbi Nakayama presents the music from the album "Still Friday" , released in summer 2024. A musical dedication to the jazz pianist Ben Heit from Trier, who died in summer 2021 and who unites the four musicians in this project.

A cross-generational project:
Robbi Nakayama, who took his first jazz piano lessons from Heit as a teenager, Hubert Winter (saxophone), who was his fellow student in Würzburg, Bill Elgart (drums), who, also in Würzburg, was Heit's drum teacher, and Henning Sieverts (double bass), who has played and recorded with all three of them in various line-ups. The three musicians around Leipzig pianist Nakayama have also been recognized artists in the international jazz scene for decades and have appeared on numerous albums.

"Still Friday" can already be heard on streaming platforms and will also be available on CD on the evening of the concert.
