Roderich Kiesewetter, one of the most prominent security experts in the Bundestag, calls for a fundamental reorientation of our security policy. He analyzes failures, identifies convenient narratives and shows why and which reforms are needed now. Between technological change, global crises and a Bundeswehr that is barely ready to defend itself, Kiesewetter draws up two opposing visions of the future: Are we becoming a capable actor - or are we leaving our future to foreign powers?
