*I’ll Stop When I’m Done* is the third album by EERA, the Berlin-based Norwegian artist Anna Lena Kristen; it was produced by Chris Taylor (Grizzly Bear). The album is inspired by Marilyn Monroe’s famous quote: “I don’t stop when I’m tired; I only stop when I’m done.” It weaves together intimate reflections on what it means to be a modern woman with profound insights into the lives of the starlets from Hollywood’s “Golden Age.” The result is a profound tribute to the female experience—in all its complexity, strength, and vulnerability.
