For 35 years, Eastern Europe has been undergoing a process of political and social reorientation. This was preceded by the collapse of the Iron Curtain (1989/90) and the disintegration of the Soviet Union into smaller states. The Soviet Union is still an ideal for many and the former territories are the target of Russian foreign policy, because one would like to "bring them home". The war between Russia and Ukraine follows this idea of restoring a superpower.

The live performance OH TERRITORIUM shows the state of mind of an oligarch family in a labyrinth of truth and lies, searching for meaning, in resistance against an autocratically ruled state apparatus, surrounded by accomplices and fellow travelers in the midst of a war beyond the state borders, of which one only hears the sound of fighter planes - if one dares. What is courage?

On stage an ensemble as surreal figures, the stage set is moved by a pregnant bull. AI-generated XR video art creates a full projection that encompasses the whole space and also the objects, creating regularly changing visual worlds.
