The Anatolian singer and spoken word artist Rûveyda combines poetry and music to create a poetic expression of her experiences as a young Muslim woman in the diaspora. On stage, she allows her audience to participate in this intimate artistic process and creates a deep connection, especially when she sings a cappella in her native Turkish.
