Joseph and Sonya are bound by a close friendship and their young son Pino, whom they are raising together. While director Joseph is working on a new movie idea and the break-up with his ex-boyfriend Marc, Sonya is suffering from depression. When she is admitted to a clinic, Joseph has to juggle not only his everyday family life but also his artistic ambitions - which sometimes leads to absurd situations.
In his second feature film, writer and director Fabian Stumm mixes different emotional tones to create a tragicomic reflection. His audience favorite is absurd and banal, hopeful and touching or - as in real life - all at once.
ENG: Joseph is juggling his family life and his artistic ambitions: He is co-parenting with his best friend Sonya who is suffering from depression, needs to deal with the breakup with his ex-boyfriend and is working on a new film idea, all at the same time.
Author and director Fabian Stumm mixes different emotional tones into a tragicomic reflection. His charming audience favorite is absurd and banal, hopeful and touching or - as real life itself - all of that at once. (German with English subtitles)
