With their new program “heimat,” the four virtuosos celebrate the finale of their concert trilogy: Following “Liebe” and “Träume” comes the next, almost all-encompassing theme.

Two violins, a cello, a piano—and an abundance of creative energy. For over 20 years, the charming Salut Salon string quartet has been performing at the world’s most renowned concert halls, thrilling audiences with its wild dynamic range—spanning from Vivaldi to vocal acrobatics, tango to “Tatort,” rap to Rachmaninoff.

Their latest program takes up another major theme: home. But what exactly is home, anyway? Is it a place? A tradition? A feeling? Is it the people around you? Or perhaps words, languages, sounds? With the dreamlike ease with which the musicians transform pieces from every corner of the world into this wonderful concert evening, they also offer their very own answer: Salut Salon are at home in the world—and their home is music.
