Yorkshire-born saxophonist Sam Newbould leads an award-winning, international five-piece line-up that has emerged from the vibrant Amsterdam jazz scene. Described as "stunning, at times introverted and intimate, at others exuberant" (SWN Talent Award, NL), their music combines virtuosity with driving grooves and playful melodies that stick in your head.
With their latest album "Homing" nominated for an Edison Award and their recent performances at major festivals and venues such as Jazzahead 2025, North Sea Jazz Festival (NL), Love Supreme (UK), BIMHUIS (NL) and Vortex (UK), the quintet has secured a firm place in the international jazz scene.
The band presents their eagerly awaited fourth album "One day we'll have a window" on the Dutch label Dox Records with a release tour through the Netherlands, Germany and Sweden.
