San2 unplugged
In the organizer's words:
Acclaimed album releases, numerous radio and television appearances, joint live shows with global jazz star Jamie Cullum and British TV legend Jools Holland, rave reviews from the press, and more than 500 concerts—San2 can look back on all of this over the past 10 years of his now internationally successful career.
Now he’s returning to the Pasinger Fabrik with an acoustic “live & unplugged” program. For this, he’s bringing along an absolutely exceptional guitarist: Sebastian Schwarzenberger is a fixture on the South German blues scene. He shines on a wide variety of guitars—whether acoustic guitar, dobro, lap steel, or mandolin—and his playing is powerful and energetic.
On the keys, Munich’s boogie-woogie master and Spider Murphy Gang pianist Ludwig Seuss shines.
Full of wit and charm, San2 guides the audience through a rich and varied program, with Schwarzenberger and Seuss seemingly effortlessly trading musical passes back and forth.
The three-part harmonies create genuine goosebump moments, and San2 regularly sets off true fireworks on the blues harp. For the audience, it’s above all the impressive instrumental solos and San2’s incomparable voice—which always seems to hover slightly above it all—that make these concert evenings a truly special experience.
