Sascha im Quadrat has been performing in the Capitol Mannheim casino since 2012. As has been customary for over a decade, Sascha Kleinophorst, Sascha Krebs, Frank Schäffer and Christof Brill will invite a musical guest once a month in 2026. They will play whatever is fun. Unique cover versions of well-known songs meet incomparable humor.

September's guest: Susan Horn
Susan Horn has been a member of the Capitol ensemble for decades. The likeable boss, charming host and founder of the successful music session MO`ROOTS, which has been delighting fans since 2004, is an all-rounder who cannot be pinned down to one musical genre. As an actress, singer, presenter and songwriter, the trained musical performer has been performing on stages around the world for several decades, taught singing at the Popakademie in Mannheim, toured Europe, America and the UAE and released her debut album "Kein Zurück" in 2007. Her repertoire includes classical opera arias as well as pop, soul, blues and jazz interpretations. Susan's idea of a stage play about the Mannheim soul and blues icon Joy Fleming came to fruition with the musical revue "IWWA DIE BRICK - Eine Hommage", which had its world premiere at the Theater am Puls in Schwetzingen and has been performed regularly at the Schatzkistl in Mannheim ever since. And as the biggest fan of the 1920s, the musical revue "Fräulein Susi's Singvergnügen" was created in 2021 - a project close to the blonde diva's heart.
No matter how, where or what Susan does - she always does it with charm, humor and total dedication.

Who are the Saschas?
Sascha Kleinophorst has already been on the road with many rock formations, including as frontman of the Brass Machine all over Germany and several times at the legendary jazz festival in Montreux. Like his partner in crime Sascha Krebs, he is also a long-standing member of the Capitol Ensemble with a large fan base. The fact that "little Sascha", as Sascha Krebs is also affectionately known, rocks just as much in an intimate setting as he does on the big stages with his band "The Queen Kings" is part of the success of Sascha im Quadrat.
They are congenially accompanied by Frank Schäffer on piano and Christof Brill on guitar! We at Capitol love our boys!
