Aaron Knappstein, the president of Kölsche Kippa Köpp e.V. from 2017, reports on the Jews who have been present in organized carnival in our city since 1823. He talks about the first Jewish carnival association before the war, the diverse scene of Jewish artists in the 1920s, the Shoah break and Jewish carnival in the post-war period. And he poses the question - "Did Jewish carnival even exist?"
