As part of the supporting program of the current exhibition at schauraum: comic + cartoon on the subject of "Staying West - Comics from the Wild West", we invite you to a film evening at the cinema in the Dortmunder U.
An aspiring Italian comic artist lands in Buenos Aires in 1950 with the dream of reaching the United States, only to discover that America will be Argentina for him.
The country immediately overwhelmed him with its incredible economic boom and one of the most dynamic cultural scenes in the world. It is the beginning of the craziest decade for Argentina, and the young immigrant feels that all the country's promises are for him.
The world would later come to know him as Hugo Pratt.
