The singer-songwriter with Finnish roots creates an atmospheric world of intense emotions and musical virtuosity—sometimes fragile and soulful, sometimes full of energy. Eloquent and uninhibited, he reflects on current events, tells intimate stories, and explores the human soul with all its quirks, hopes, and depths. As a counterpoint to commercial pop music, JAN never drifts into superficiality—his music always remains grounded and strikes right at the heart.

Starting in August 2024, we’ll be offering you a special opportunity to do just that every other Sunday: at “Schirrmann’s Lunch & Music.”
You can look forward not only to à la carte delicacies, our varied buffet, coffee specialties, tea, and pastries with a view of the Weser, but also live music from musicians from Bremen and the surrounding area, who perfectly round out the afternoon from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM. And during the summer months, every 4th Friday from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, enjoy the sunset on the rooftop terrace! We look forward to seeing you! Free admission.
