Prometheus stole fire from the gods and gave it to humans because he believed in their future. As punishment, Zeus created her from earth and water: Pandora, the all-gifted one. And as a bonus, he gave her insatiable curiosity and a box that brought disaster into the world.

In 2026, humanity is on the brink of the abyss. A new development in science promises mankind progress and prosperity like never before. But at the same time, it creates dangers of unimagined proportions. The question of the responsibility of science is more topical today than ever before. In a madhouse, the boundaries between genius and madness, between love and death and between progress and downfall become blurred.
Dramatic, mythological, musical and with a great deal of black humor, "The Physicists" celebrates the worst possible turn that unleashed humanity is heading for.
