Searching For Home - 10th Birthday Festival

10 years of Searching for Home - that's something to celebrate! To mark this anniversary, the band collective from Leipzig is throwing its first own festival at the Moritzbastei. After three releases, more than 170 concerts together and several awards (1st Sparda Jazz Award, 1st Jazzfruit, 5th Burghausen Jazz Award), Searching for Home are bringing a rousing anniversary show of new songs and reworked classics to the stage. Whether it's about the relationship to oneself, hyper-focus on one person or living apart - the band collective tells stories with pushing forward momentum and incredibly infectious optimism. Led by the versatile voice of singer Ida, pulsating grooves, fat brass sections, driving bass and guitars as well as sophisticated synthesizer sounds constantly bring new facets to the energetic live program. Top-class support acts, special guests and an extensive after-party round off the one-day festival.
