Second Hand Dance Company: We touch, we play, we dance

Young Dance House

A participatory dance performance for different age groups depending on the date:
0 - 18 months + 12 months - 3 years + 4 - 11 years.

Four dancers whirl through the room and invite babies and toddlers to take part in this warm-hearted, playful performance. The music is mixed live by a DJ. We Touch, We Play, We Dance is a participatory dance performance for babies and toddlers from 0 to 3 years and for children with disabilities (children with autistic, neurodiverse, physical and learning disabilities) from 4 to 11 years. Parents can marvel at how their children react to the dancers. Everything is allowed: High fives, hugs, dancing - but you can also just watch and listen.

Second Hand Dance is a disabled-led dance company founded in England in 2013 by Rosie Heafford and Claire Summerfield. Since then, they have been developing pieces for children and adults. Their sensitive, colorful and accessible productions have toured to festivals around the world and regularly keep young audiences in high spirits, often dancing long after the show is over.
