About the play:

What is a person looking for when they enter a bar alone? A drink? A conversation? Or, in the end, the fulfillment of a longing?

In this scenic song recital, the bar becomes a playground for longing melancholy. A place where people meet by chance and make a conscious decision: Do I stay? Do I listen? Do I join in?

Every evening can be different, but one thing is clear: we have each other. In an intimate dialog between the actress and singer Magdalena Julia Simmel, a barkeeper with a guitar and the audience, stories emerge from songs, fragments and fantasies between loneliness and closeness. Each performance is shaped by the people who take their seats that evening and the decisions that are made.
