In the organizer's words:

OPEN SHABBAT was one of the best surprise moments of the last festival: the room was fuller than expected, many people simply joined in with curiosity - and in the end we sang together.

It is precisely this open, unifying experience that we want to make possible again in 2026. Kabbalat Shabbat marks the beginning of the Jewish day of rest and offers a rare opportunity to experience this special moment together.

With Rabbi Jonathan Kligler from Woodstock, we are creating a musical evening that is deliberately low-threshold: open to everyone, without prior knowledge, carried by music, voice and community. Listen, join in, maybe even sing along - anything is possible.
