After Ski Mask The Slump God released his single "Take a Step Back" feat. XXXTentacion in 2017, his career really took off. Since then, Ski Mask The Slump God has amassed over 6 billion streams on Spotify worldwide and over 10 million followers on social media. He has collaborated with artists such as Juice WRLD, Denzel Curry, Lil Yachty, ASAP Ferg and many more, enriching his music with influences that go far beyond the hip-hop genre. In 2026, Ski Mask The Slump God 's European tour will take him to Frankfurt's Zoom and Cologne's Carlswerk Victoria.

Even before Stokely Clevon Goulbourne started rapping, he became close friends with XXXTentacion, whom he met in a juvenile detention center in 2013. In 2014, they both founded the hip-hop collective Members Only and began their careers as rappers. With his first own uploads to SoundCloud and various Members Only mixtapes under the name Ski Mask The Slump God, he drew attention to his music in the following years. Inspired by Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, Ski Mask The Slump God built on a fast, playful flow and experimented with trap and punk rap. Songs such as "Catch Me Outside", "BabyWipe" and "Take A Step Back" were his first successes and led to the release of his debut mixtape "You Will Regret" in 2017. In 2018, Ski Mask became friends with Juice Wrld and collaborated with him on the single "Nuketown". In November of that year, he released his debut album "Stokeley", which entered the Billboard 200 at number 6 and also landed in the international charts. In addition to "Nuketown", "Faucet Failure", "Unbothered" and "Foot Fungus" became the artist's absolute top tracks and made his international breakthrough perfect. Since then, Ski Mask has released further singles, collabs and the mixtape "Sin City The Mixtape" (2021). In 2024, he released his album "11th Dimension", which includes posthumous features from XXXTENTACION and Juice WRLD as well as collaborations with ATL Jacob, Future, DJ Scheme, Skillibeng and Corbin. On the compilation album "The Lost Files", which was released in 2025, there are two more XXXTENTACION features that keep the rapper's legacy alive.
