Soester Sommer | Boogie Man & Drums
In the organizer's words:
Between July 29 and August 28, the beer garden and pub at our cultural center will, as always, serve as a stage for diverse and exciting live music every Wednesday and Friday evening. Look forward to artists representing a wide variety of genres! Free admission is available.
Hardly any other genre embodies as much emotion, depth, passion, and diversity as rhythm and blues. Two extraordinary representatives of the genre—Boogie Man Thomas Nowak on piano and vocals, and the drummer—deliver a blend of authentic rhythm & blues, rock ’n’ roll, and boogie-woogie that will have music lovers of all ages—from jazz aficionados to rock fans—dancing their hearts out.
Virtuoso boogie-woogie by Meade Lux Lewis and Pinetop Smith, jazzy swing by Count Basie, Duke Ellington, or Mr. Gershwin, fast-paced rock ’n’ roll à la Jerry Lee Lewis, Ray Charles, Fats Domino, and Elvis Presley, as well as soulful original compositions, make up this rousing program.
Boogie Man is a welcome guarantee of a fantastic atmosphere and an excellent musical experience. The show by this “world’s smallest big band” not only delights musically, but also leaves hardly a dry eye in the house.
Are you ready to boogie!?
