country, and Western swing band that brings the perfect retro sound and heart-wrenching
melodies for dancing cowboys and cowgirls. Forget the polished
radio country—here’s the real deal. Straight from the heart of Berlin,
George & His New Heartaches catapult you back to the golden era of the dance hall. With a
sound as dusty as a country road in Virginia and as elegant as a tuxedo in
Nashville, this international quintet celebrates the honky-tonk and Western swing
of the ’40s through the ’60s. Led by the exceptional musician George Aschmann from Virginia (USA) on violin and vocals, the band delivers two-part guitar riffs and wailing steel guitars that will first break your heart and then wear out your dancing shoes.
