Solome Gebreyes is a singer and songwriter with German-Ethiopian roots. She studied jazz and popular music at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig and will give her final concert with her own songs on 24.06.2025.
In the first years of her studies, the singer devoted herself intensively to jazz music and its artistic developments, particularly within African-American culture. In addition, the Berlin native has always had a great passion for hip hop and soul music.

Her own music is rooted in neo-soul and R'n'B. Carried by light and heavy beats and a warm vocal color, her German-language lyrics tell of the everyday struggles of life in the big city, as a PoC and a woman. In doing so, she unobtrusively takes a stand on socially relevant issues. With a casual attitude and her unagitated, charming performance, she manages to convey even serious topics with an ease that picks up her audience emotionally and still creates plenty of room for good vices. She paints the picture of a modern, self-confident woman for whom empowerment and sensitivity are not contradictory.Solome Gebreyes first appeared as Keboo in 2019 on the collabo EP "SURF" with Tightill and Dexter. The following year, she released her debut single "Solero".

This was followed by several releases, including individual singles, as well as 2 further EPs. She lives and works as an independent singer and songwriter in Berlin and releases her own songs at regular intervals. together with her band, consisting of former fellow students, she will perform her music at Horns Erben on 24.06.2025.
