The Karlstorbahnhof invites you to a summer picnic! You can expect relaxed live music, delicious food, really good wine and lots of other cool drinks. Our head office will take care of your physical well-being with a colorful mezze plate. Light, tasty and relaxed. And our small beer table sets transform the square in front of our TiK Theater into a picnic paradise.

This time, the trio Beach Towel are playing their third album with the obvious title "Trois" (French for the number three). Like previous releases 'Peach Melba' and 'Paris Plages', the collection of ten new songs is an ambitious concept album, a DIY Gesamtkunstwerk and a further development of their all but unique identity as a monothematic band. Having been an insider tip at major festivals such as Burg Herzberg, Maifeld Derby and Hamm am Rhein in the past, Beach Towel are now preparing their live set specifically for small-scale gigs as part of the new album. With their mobile setup, Beach Towel bring spontaneous, intimate concert experiences to the Sommer Picknick stage.

Advance booking includes a guaranteed seat and a mezze plate each. Those who book under the same name will be seated together. Without a ticket, you are welcome to make yourself comfortable on any remaining seats, at our bar tables or on your own picnic blankets and simply enjoy the music and atmosphere. For spontaneous hunger pangs, there is a selection of snacks at our bar. Come along and enjoy the summer sunset together. We look forward to seeing you!
