Celebrating! Joëlle Dubois
Starting at 7 p.m.: Performance by BUNNY FRANCIS.HUNGRY GHOSTS
Nina van denbempt is a Belgian multidisciplinary artist with a slight obsession with the unease of being human. Today, she primarily uses painting, performance, and sound as her means of expression.
Nina will be coming to the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf with a new performance, this time as Bunny Francis.
Inspired by Joëlle Dubois’ murals, she delves into her sexuality—or rather, into its absence. After becoming a (single) mother, she performs a ritual to become “slutty” again. Or is that even what she wants to be? Or will this merely be a continuation of her existence as a hungry, hungry spirit?
Starting at 7:45 p.m.: Concert by Pink Gloves
Pink Gloves is an experimental electronic R&B-punk band. This live duo takes you on a musical roller coaster ride. They’ll challenge your expectations and fulfill your desires. They invite you to dance, scream, move, and connect with one another.
