CAPITOL Versicherung is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The bosses have come up with something special: they invite the entire workforce to a country hotel to celebrate. In addition to Bernd Stromberg (Christoph Maria Herbst), Berthold "Ernie" Heisterkamp (Bjarne Mädel), Jennifer Schirrmann (Milena Dreißig) and the now married Ulf and Tanja (Oliver K. Wnuk, Diana Staehly) and their foster son Marvin are of course also there. At this celebration, however, not only positive things are to be announced - there is also a rumor that the branch is about to close. The only possibility for continued employment is a transfer to the company headquarters. As a lot of board members are present at the party, Stromberg tries to present himself as a model department manager who is appreciated and respected by his employees. Ernie is also pursuing a similar plan and wants to win over the CAPITOL board. As expected, however, a lot goes wrong at the party...
